WINGTRO & WINGFOIL LESSONS
WINGFOILING
This exciting and fastest growing watersport of wing foiling has hit our shores.
Have you spotted someone out on the water holding a wing while their board hovers above the water with a hydrofoil underneath, and thought to yourself what is that ? and are interested to learn this exciting wind sport, then you've come to the right place.
This is Wing Foiling!
What Is Wing Foiling?
Wing Foiling is the latest innovation in board sports. It combines the expertise of riding a designated board mounted with a hydrofoil with the thrill of holding a specially designed ‘hand wing’ . Wing Foiling provides the rider with maximum freedom on the water, utilising both the wind and water energy for the ultimate ride.
Wingfoiling is so accessible for everyone and opens up so many disciplines. From flat-water cruising and freestyle, to pumping and gliding through seafront chop and bumps, to carving around in the waves. Wing Foiling can make even the average day totally epic.

FIRST FLIGHTS
Time to progress onto a Foil Board for your First Flights. You will be on the same board you used for the WingSUP, the only difference will be that a foil will be attached to the board.
We will spend a few minutes running through and understanding the theory before heading onto the water. Some time will be spent warming up by practicing the skills we covered on the previous lesson while getting used to having a foil underneath you. Then we will start to feel the thrill of gliding above the water on our foil.
The aims for this session is to take off, fly for a short time, and then touch down in a nice controlled manner. Be able to keep the board on the water while riding upwind and turning.
SUSTAINED FLIGHTS
Time to improve those foiling skills by extending those ride times. Balance and feet position will be worked on to ensure the board is level and balanced to gain those extra distances.
The instructor will be on the water with you, providing you with coaching tips and demos from our safety boat.
Need to learn how to gybe whilst on foil, or still need to crack those gybes, then we are here for you.
